Person-Centred Counselling Supervision: Theory and Practice

 2008

Anna Gilchrist and Rose Battye

The aim of the course is for students to find their individual way of working as a supervisor based on the Person-Centred Approach.   We introduce different models of supervision and ideas from different theoretical orientations so that students can develop their individual style from a broad knowledge base.

We believe that in person-centred supervision, particular emphasis must be paid to the relationships between the supervisee and his/her clients and between the supervisor and the supervisee.
