 BACP Service Accreditation

The Norwich Centre is a BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) Accredited Service.   

This scheme which sets out the benchmarks for high quality counselling services encompasses the whole range of providers from small local voluntary groups to major commercial Employee Assistance Programme providers.  

To achieve this we provided a portfolio of evidence demonstrating how we meet eligibility and operational criteria.  These encompass our aims and objectives, our publicity, staffing, management and administration, and service delivery.  

We received extremely positive feedback from BACP with particular commendation for our confidentiality policy and our commitment to serving the local community.  

The Norwich Centre has always had a reputation for providing a professional service and it is a great achievement to be validated in this way, particularly for a small charitable organisation.  

Everyone working at the Centre has contributed to the policies and procedures that underpin our work and we all take great satisfaction in this achievement.
