THE NORWICH CENTRE

Our Team

Counselling in Norwich normally takes place in our own premises, a detached house set in its own grounds close to the centre of the city.

We have a wheelchair accessible annexe and toilet.

The quiet atmosphere and privacy this affords are valued by our clients who often comment on the contribution this makes to their therapy. We also have a network of affiliate counsellors in other locations around the country. The accommodation they offer has to meet our guidelines.

Counsellors working for Norwich Centre Projects in Norwich are all highly qualified and include graduates of the highly regarded Diploma in Counselling of the University of East Anglia, and of our own Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling. Our course, like the former UEA course, is Accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Our counsellors are experienced in employee counselling and hold BACP Accreditation as registered practitioners or an equivalent. They have to meet the present minimum requirements to become a registered counselling practitioner with the BACP.

Caroline Kitcatt EdD BA, Dip Counselling, PGCE, PGCM, MBACP (Snr Accred) – is the  Director of the Norwich Centre.  She is a qualified and experienced counsellor, supervisor, manager and trainer.
