OUR COURSES, WORKSHOPS & EVENTS

Our Courses:

The Norwich Centre runs a number of professional counselling skills and counselling courses from Introduction to Counselling, Certificate in Counselling and a post-graduate Diploma in Counselling.

Introductory Course

Our introductory courses are a 10 week part-time course and usually runs 3 times a year.

Current status: We are currently accepting applications for the summer 2024 introductory course.

Certificate Course

The certificate course is a 1 year part-time course and we aim to run this course at least once each academic year.

Current status: The next certificate course is due to run in autumn 2024 and we will upload the brochure for this as soon as it is available.

Diploma Course

The diploma course is a 2 year part-time course and runs every 2 years.  The next course is due to begin in September 2024.

The Encounter Group meet once a week over an 8 week period to explore various aspects of personal identity within a group setting.  Each week a set of prompts will be sent out to stimulate personal engagement with a given aspect of identity (sexuality, gender, age, class, race, nationality, religion, education, appearance, neurodiversity, disability).
