Our Courses:

The Norwich Centre runs a number of professional counselling skills and counselling courses from Introduction to Counselling, Certificate in Counselling and a post-graduate Diploma in Counselling.

Introductory Course

Our Introductory Course is a 10 week part-time course and usually runs 3 times a year.

Current status: The autumn 2024 Introductory Course is now full.

Certificate Course

The Certificate Course is a 1 year part-time course and we aim to run this course at least once each academic year.

Current status: The 2025 - 2026 Certificate Course is currently accepting new applications.

Diploma Course

The Diploma Course is a 2 year part-time course and runs every 2 years.

Spiritual Accompaniment Course

We hope to be running our Spiritual Accompaniment course next year from January 2026 until December 2026.  We have not finalised the dates or prepared the new brochure at this point but, if you are interested in knowing more, please drop us an e-mail to training@norwichcentre.org and we will be happy to answer any questions you have or put you on the mailing list to receive the brochure once it is finalised later in the summer.

Encounter Group

Meeting weekly over a period of eight weeks, the Encounter Group will sit together for three hours, once a week, with the intention of being with one another. The emphasis will be on staying with the here-and-now and in-the-moment experience. This is a facilitated, rather than traditional teacher-student environment, with the emphasis on co-creation and shared responsibility.
